Coming to Liège
By train
Liège-Guillemins high speed train station.
High speed trains from Paris, Brussels, Cologne and Amsterdam. Regional and intercity trains from most Belgian cities.
To get to the centre from the station: buses Nos 1 or 4, train to the Liège Saint-Lambert railway station.
By air
Airports: Brussels National Airport (Zaventem) or Brussels South Airport (Charleroi).
From Brussels National Airport: the easiest is to take the train to Liège (station Liège-Guillemins), usually via Leuven [French: ‘Louvain’] or via Brussels. Tickets can be bought online or from a ticket vending machine at the station.

From Charleroi Airport: you can take the “Flibco shuttle” to Liège.
Travelling by bus in Liège
You can easily walk everywhere in the city centre. However, two days of the 2024 edition will be in the Sart Tilman campus and you will need to take the bus (or a taxi) to get there.
A single ticket costs 2,10€ (single tickets are more expensive if you buy them on board) and a “Multi 8 ticket” (for 8 trips) costs 9,2€.
Where can you buy a bus ticket when arriving in Liège? At the “ESPACE TEC Liège Gare des Guillemins” located in the main station or in the city. You can also use the TEC app to travel and buy tickets.
